likes caffeine and being sore from cycling. Also is looking at fun things in Providence, and is very excited for them.
Safari 4: not bad.
Lacking homework, I went online tonight.
For my non-Catholic Lent:
No anything before homework is done.
Fast on Ash Wednesday. I was pretty hungry, but Eddo did it with me. He’d never fasted before. Treated myself to big meals and a raspberry/mocha frap today.

Sore brain, leg
In a 5-minute discussion, Eddo told me how a boy pees. My curiosity is a little off-kilter this evening, possibly due to this total exhaustion that I feel.
At the Y I took the 6:00 spin class. Sam was my instructor, and I tell you the man is a sadist. But he had a most youthful playlist, which was surprising because he must be into his 50s. Near the end he played 3Oh3! and Rise Against.
Needless...
Jose Galvan is a good DJ :D
…Today barely counts as a Fat Tuesday… but I’m still going to fast tomorrow.
Worked out after long rehearsal, read NYT Magazine, pesto pasta, now have diet cola, Ovid, and Indie to keep me busy! Life = :D
I have packed my gym bag, and am ready for…… what is it that seniors do at school?
It hurts to say that since Indie 103.1 went off air, the music quality has skyrocketed. I miss the old days…
My feets hurt! From dancing! And I never did finish my cake. I put it down, started dancing, and never stopped dancing. Eddo’s party was by far the best birthday party I’ve ever been to.
All the kids like me. There’s the V&H sisters, and the E&A sisters, and they both were really friendly and talked to me. While V&H were super-social and danced with us seniors (and...
The things I do for fun. I cut someone off earlier. Intentionally.
I have burned Kate her CD for the Brown ‘13 Music Exchange!
I'm so L.A.
I like the way the band Mynx put it:
My name is Holly and I’m from LA I’ve got nothing intelligent to say Wait a minute, we’re not from New York … We’re from LA Well I woke up this morning with my makeup on …
Though yesterday was Eddo’s birthday, I feel like I’m the one who got a taste of the adult life for the first time. I spent an hour and 45...
What we did today in Econ:
Look at our hypothetical stock portfolio and weep.
Look at rents in the towns in which we want to attend college and weep.
Look at the cost of owning an automobile and weep.
This is Ms. Liz
She tried to teach me how to swim when I was little. She worked for the local Y, and scared me every day (as she seems to be repeating again with this young boy). I still haven’t managed to learn how to swim, or at least with any sustainability of breath. So as I went through the Y website and found this photo, I felt this creepy nostalgia.
Then, when I got to the Y today, I saw a flyer...

Listening to Suicide Girls Radio. <3 Larkino and I are evaluating gym memberships. Curves, anyone?
The God of Small Things happens to be the first piece of meaningful, relevant literature my teacher has assigned all year.
Donuts
Today I brought Kat some donuts for her 18th. 18 donuts, 18 years. But not all of them gotten eaten, and Briana suggested I give them to homeless people. …So I did.
I parked on Green Street and walked around Colorado Blvd., asking homeless-looking people if they’d like a donut. Two guys on a bench took two each. A silent crouching old man took one. A man leaning against a wall took...
I was a little late to the punch line today, when after spending all day in front of 3 romantic movies on USA, I realized that their marathon was based on… Valentine’s Day! Wow!
…It’s not that I forgot, but the awareness of V-Day is hampered a bit by Eddo’s excursion to Berkeley for the weekend with the debate team. So here I am, on my laptop in the living room. From...
I am a National Merit Finalist. Hah.
My knuckles are bleeding, they’re so dry. I hate winter, not for the cold, but for the dryness.
Watching Kinsey, what fun!
I swear I’m still alive! Swamped in homework. Nothing to do this weekend, all alone on V-Day :-\

Why I won’t be having any dreams at all: The 50 cars parked along my street, as Eddo and I discovered while he drove me home, suggested a newly-formed party next door at the bachelors’. And indeed the signs did not lead us astray. I bet they’re loud until 3.
Why I’ll be having bad dreams:
Repo: The Genetic Opera showing at Rachael’s house on Friday.
The once-yearly Academic Decathlon competition today. My speech was miserably bungled, cut short, and still ran overtime.
Why I’ll be having good dreams:
Eddo has new, fabulous spectacles.
Contrary to my Lena Chenliness, I kinda liked He’s Just Not That Into You. It...

Back from the funeral. Today was totally beautiful, but a waste of many tissues. His cousin doesn’t trust me.
Graciously welcomed into Eddo’s Mexican family; viewed R.D.M. Sr. for the last time, lots of hugs. Unsure how to study like this.
It’s Groundhog Day, everyone! Yeah!
Indie, vocab homework, and senioritis. Nice.
I don't like feeling like a bad person
Today I was at Arcadia High with the Gang (Eddo, Kilizzle, Rakel, and Jer) at K & R’s speech tournament. Most of the time we spent waiting to leave, fooling around. There I saw the Ribet debate team: KT, Jordan, Lindsay L., and Mr. Miller! I talked with KT for the first time in ages; it was pretty cool.
But I feel like a jerk who’s been taking people for granted. I was mean to K...
