Job hunt!
So, I need a job. I need to make money this summer.
I started applying for jobs around spring break. Between physical and online applications, I have applied to over two dozen jobs.
But I didn’t get hired. Ok. I hit the pavement again for a few hours this afternoon, and no one is hiring.
Shouldn’t people be hiring? Does the L.A. economy really stink that much?
Any leads? Please...

I just used it for the first time and then hid it under our sink so my suite-mate can’t find it.
I have no idea what she’s been doing for the past two weeks.
but she can keep doing it.
Wait… you have your own bathroom!!?!??! NO FAIR!
48 hours in Los Angeles
Things I have done:
slept.
ran errands in Hollywood and Silver Lake.
went to the Y with Larkino like old times.
made a mess of my room.
Oh, and:
overwrote my ($120) installation of Windows 7 with Ubuntu 10, thinking that the Win 7 partition was the XP partition and vice versa. OOOOOPS.
rolled with it and have converted completely to Ubuntu in 24 hours.
So if you have any questions about...
College: like, whoosh!
Here I am on my last Monday of being a college freshman. This has been the fastest year of my life.
Schedule: exam in 1.25 hours, day to finish a philosophy paper, day to study for another exam, exam and packing, day to pack, move out, and study for exam, day to take last final and fly home.
I will be in L.A. before Sunday.
In other news: spent my last weekend at school… at MIT. Had a...
What Flavor is Internet Ice Cream? →
Apparently, the best ice cream place in the world, Toscanini’s (on the intersection of Mass. and Main), created a new flavor of ice cream in honor of ROFLcon:
Internet ice cream: vanilla… with Nerds swirled in. (Guess where I’m dragging Eddo Friday night!)
