Breaking news from the What Holly Does With All That Downtime desk:

MIT psets (short for problem sets) are hard. I am using the online version of the class 18.01, the introductory calculus offering, to review what I learned in high school and then to learn half a semester more. Unfortunately, they have a very good lecturer from one year paired with the assignments and notes from professors in other years who just aren’t as clear. Worse yet, the pacing and structure of the psets don’t match the video lectures, so it’s pretty difficult to know what I’m supposed to have been taught versus what just hasn’t been covered yet.
