(Holly, a student from L.A.) Welcome the blog I brought with me to college. holly_hunt@brown.edu

Sample sonnet: Estha

Now I am two people, two am I now—

Look in the mirror, you see: mirror the look in

You’ll see the twin mind, one mind, hers mine, how?

She or he sees, the dizygotic twin.

Sole Ammu saw us fake this palindrome:

Eshappen and Rakel can’t be reversed;

Easily matched but not confirmed a clone,

Twin thinking sister’s thoughts for her twin cursed.

And lest you think it makes no sense to try

To differentiate us lying here,

A girl tear looks the same those boys cry

Once landed on a cheek, one thing that’s clear.

It played with double minds, doubled, played with it

Until tonight: asymmetry will fit.
